    last month I threw out the old PC and bought a 24" iMac ... Wow absolutely brilliant.

    Ordered Snow Leopard today for $14.95, a reduced price Apple offer if you bought close to the role out date (28 Aug I think)

    with 640GB HDD who cares about another 7 being freed up, but I'll take it

    Well everything is upgraded now. Snow Leopard, ilife and iwork. The only thing that isn't done is iphoto is going through all our photos and recognising faces...

    Strangely we've gone from 6gb free to 14gb free. I'm not sure whether that's due to change in GB sizes but it looks like the pie available is much bigger.

    Dull..
