Yeah looks like email is behind at the moment so your probably best of calling

I'd also suggest posting over at iiNet Whirlpool Forum it's nickname is whingepool but theres a good chance that your problem will be addressed.

While it's not an official support channel it's monitored 24/7 by company reps and you'll even see the MD checking in and posting from time to time just don't post personal info of course.

Edit: Check out http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...'t=1307860 might help as well

Got this months Bob Bill, I noticed it was more than the monthly charge. there was a $1.30 worth of calls added. Since national and local calls were free. I checked my bill info and the $1.30 was the cost of Voip calls to iinet support. They use a prefix number of 13... so when you ring them because of there equipment fault you get charged for the call.
Penny pinching may be, but a cheek of them

Thats ludicris, surely calls made using voip use their hardware/ software to their office and therefor shouldnt be billed at all ?- i mean its not costing them anything.

The 13 and 1300 number charges is simply the way they work those types of number work it's got nothing to do with iiNet

Handy hint call 0892142222 from your iiNet VOIP/iiTalk it'll take you to the same number as 13 22 58 and if you've called on iiTalk it's free

My replacement BoB arrived Tuesday. Plugged him in and he had problems staying connected to the internet. Phone call to support, changed a few settings and all is good.
I must say that the three times I have called support they have been reasonably knowledgable and been able to identify cause of problems and therefore fixes.
I do have to call support using my mobile rather than BoB handset though cause when it asks you to press 1 etc, it does not register.....
Now to update my wireless drivers to I can secure my network instead of unplugging the cable. My notebook connects fine when the network is secured but my desk top doesn't recongnise the key entered.

Who did you suck up to to get a replacement.
I have sent them an irate email. I'm sick of ring support, 10 times now and get stupid suggestions to try. Strange that one support tech says to try try after another told me no it won't.
They are friendly but fob you off as you never get the same tech and have to go through the whole spiel again.
I have emailed Belkin, they quote a 24 hr return email response, I'm still waiting. Even though I jujst keep getting direct debited every month. As for the charges to the support on the 13 number, they smartly told me if it worried me they would refund it. I told them to stick it and just give me what I am paying for.

Just got this in my email box, what ya's reckon???? sounds pretty good but the down side is the changed times from peak to off peak see a bit .......crap!!!!

    Hi Mrs Balnoxan,

Good news! We're adding a bit of spit and polish to your plan, giving you a better deal at no extra cost.
The upgrade means you'll receive an increase to your monthly quota, with an extra 40GB being injected into your plan. That should give you plenty more room to move on the net!
As well as your increased quota, you'll see some adjustments to current peak and off-peak times, with off-peak times now applying between 1am and 9am and the remaining time being classified as peak.
Last but not least, we're increasing shaped speeds on your plan so if you do manage to chew through your new quota allowance, your shaped speed will be double what you're used to.
    Here's a look at your plan's changes:
    Home 5old quotanew quotapeakoff-peakpeakoff-peak15GB25GB40GB40GBold peak/off-peak timesnew peak/off-peak timespeakoff-peakpeakoff-peak12 noon - 2am2am - 12 noon9am - 1am1am - 9amold shaped download speednew shaped download speed64kb per second128kb per secondWhat you need to do next
If you'd like to take advantage of your shiny upgrade right away, click Upgrade Me Now!
If you're happy to wait, you won't need to do a thing for these changes to take effect - we'll do everything for you in around 30 days time. You'll still receive the same monthly bill at the same time you normally would.
Head to the iiNet website to learn more about off-peak times or to take advantage of the iiNet Freezone, packed full of unmetered content that won't dent your monthly quota.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our friendly 24 hour Support Team on 13 22 58, or via email on support@iinet.net.au.
We hope you enjoy your new quota and all the internet goodness it brings with it.
    Kind regards,

You will only be shaped to 64/128 if you go over your limit and with 60gig total i'm not likely to go over it.
