    Just got our 3rd Mac

    24" iMac
    13" MBP - mine
15" MBP - hers, arrived today.

Haven't got the cat and dog one yet.

I'll keep my VIAO for vehicle diagnostics and that's about all.

Well I'm thinking of upsizing mine today! Apple have just released new imacs with a 27" screen and quad cores

Oh, and they have dropped the price and up the spec of everything

    Roll on November

Interestingly we were discussing these in my pod and work, and I said I'm keen on that computer. So, the Bill Gates love child in the pod and myself started adding up the component cost at our local cheap website. By the time we had just the processor, motherboard, memory, and screen (this was hard as the biggest we could find was a 25) he stopped and declared that you had about $900 left for "the rest". That included case, hdd, DVD, camera, speakers, flash kbd and mouse, and importantly, Windows 7. Even he begrudgingly concluded that it was "good value".

This supports my assertion that if the currency is in good shape Apple hardware usually comes up as good value when compared on like for like..
