Thread: Any one use a bittorent program

It would be fair to say most people on the net have been guilty of using a bitorrent program to access and share files.
Download a game or a movie or 2.
Well have a read of this court battle now with iinet.
I wonder how much info they have about my service?
There is no privacy in communications.
interesting in one of the articles where the iinet barrister says in response about iinet being responisble for there customers downloading illegal content., "then they might as well Sue Australia Post" because they can't control the illegal drugs posted in the mail by their customers".

AFACT Update
If you've been keeping up with the news recently, it's likely that you'll have seen iiNet's name in the headlines. It's been almost a year since the Australian Federation Against Copyright Theft (AFACT) filed Federal Court action against iiNet, alleging that iiNet authorises customers to download illegal content in breach of copyright laws.
