Keen to see how antenna works.. I had a USB NextG wireless on my lappy which was crap.. now have '3' USB wireless .. even more crap

Do you have access to cable? If you have Foxtel and it comes in on a big black coax, you have cable.
It worked for me when I couldn't get ADSL due to having pair-gain wiring in the estate - best dial-up speed was 28.8.
Nah, we have Austar via a satellite dish. Looks like wireless with a gateway and an antenna will be the way to go. Am over researching just want to get something even half reasonable will be good as opposed to the crap at the moment,Quote:
