Yeah thats pretty much it, I have seen some tight ones but your ones should come out easy with the diesel around them, I always use a pipe spanner on the injector pipes. or a crows foot. and i find it easier to pull the fuel pipes of the pump and remove them altogether, saves bending them, mark them just to make it easy, so you know what goes where.
and fit them loose, get them started on the thread then tighten them up.
I use the pipe spanner to save distorting the union nut.:p
