Ok, I'll try again. First ones 2 before gas then some after.

Thanks. I can see all your pics now. More ideas for me :)
I have pulled the gas mixer/regulator whatever they are called out, prepped the standard airbox and refitted the coil. So next step is to refit the airbox and connect all the air intake stuff up, refit the ignition amp and refit the power steering pump reservoir.
All that will get it mobile on petrol again. Not too concerned how long til LPG is sorted as it does so few kms at the moment.
Hi Tank,
Your fitting method certainly freed up some space!
I'd need to fit my LPG thingo in there too but it is certainly doable.
Great idea using a VS commodore airbox, how did you modify the airbox to attach the snorkel?
Thinking of doing the same thing caus i stuffed my airbox in the process of installing my snorkel.
The Snorkel fitted to the air box using the original fitting that came with the kit, just cut the hole and lined it up. For the pipe to the MAF it was cut from the original box and welded onto the VS lid. I has given much more room around that area. I could now fit the coil behind the air box between the ABS equipment.
Hi Justin.
The long bracket from the radiator mounting is just a peice of angle iron cut and fabricated. It's very strong and has another smaller bracket going from the PS fluid reserviore clamp down to the inner wing.
I don't have the vehicle at work so if you need more pictures I'd have to take them over the weekend and post them up later.
S.
I've been working on this all afternoon.
The snorkel side of things is all fitted.
The power steering reservoir is fitted with a bracket I bent up that is pretty similar to Landover's.
So it should be running fine on petrol (LPG unit is not refitted yet).
However I have a problem.
The car runs like a sick doggy.
Originally it pinged really badly so I retimed it to 6d BTDC. It was much higher than that. You couldn't even see the marks! I assume it was due to more air getting into the motor. The previous intake was pretty restrictive and I haven't changed anything else.
However even though now it pulls hard all through the rev range, when you are cruising along at 60km/h it misses and either backfires or pops out the exhaust. I'm not sure.
Didn't do that til I backed the timing off although it did run a little rough at cruise.
It has a new rotor and cap (both Lucas) so tomorrow I'll play with it some more and maybe get new leads. It has Gasmaster leads now but they are about 3 years old and I'm a bit wary of them even though they all read low resistance.
I tried moving the ignition module to a cooler spot and cleaned up its heatsink paste and put better stuff on. This made no difference at all.
Any ideas?
Just tried adjusting the AFM. It was a little high but nothing much. Didn't change anything.
I checked the gaps of no. 7, 5, 3 spark plugs and all was fine at 0.8mm so I stopped there. Will check the others tomorrow.
Test drove it after doing the above and it still pops and farts and runs rough at cruise but you can redline it in 2nd gear and it pulls hard and strong right the way through.
So I'll change the leads tomorrow just to rule it out but otherwise all I can think of doing is refitting the old airbox and retiming it to suit and see if it runs fine like it did before I installed the snorkel
