Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Phil and I have just bought a 1994 Disco ES 3.9 V8i
I was wondering if anyone can give me any hints etc... for the area for cost effective maintanance? I've looked over the vehicle before purchase and all seems very good, some signs of age as to be expected but 156k on the clock, 12 months rego, 4 new tyres etc...
Only small issue is a weeping power steering hose. I know these can be expensive so battered the asking price down but was wondering if anyone can tell me if I could get a hydrolics shop to make me up the hose?
Also, for small jobs, can anyone tell me where to "get" a service manual from?
Cheers in advance.

Hello and Welcome Phil.
I also have a Disco 1993 Petrol V8. 155,000 on the clock and Loving it.
The comfort level is great but the smallish rear cargo area is a little tricky to load all my gear into hence the roof rack.
They are the BBBBBBs neeeze.

Anyone able to recommend anyone on the Central Coast for me to take it to for a once over? Obviously I'm not a millionaire so Land Rover are out!?!
Also, There is a working CB radio in the Disco but aeriel is damaged/missing on bull bar. Can anyone let me know what I need an how much etc...
Cheers
Ooh, almost forgot. The side windows behind seats 6 & 7 have REALLY old, knackered rubber surrounds. What can I use to replace them? Land Rover specific or a generic alternative?
Cheers again
