    Biggest tyres for a standard d1

    Hi, I want to use a 70 series tyre (e.g. 245/70R16 or 255/70R16).
    Does anyone know the biggest tyre that will fit without fouling. The D1 has approx 40mm lift if that makes any difference.

    HEAPS of info alright on the site... but my 2c worth is 245x75x16 will fit but require camel cut at rear 1/4 pannel guards. So if your concerned about fouling, then cutting is the only way (aside from body lift)

    Yes I tried the search but I obviously wasn't using the correct keywords.
    Read all the links you posted.
    I'm going to settle for the 245/70R16s. Just a tad bigger than standard, no cutting required and puts the speedo spot on!
