    Dual cab 4-door Disco?

    Hi guy's

For a little while now i've been thinking of cutting my 4 door disco1 down into a tub style duel cab ute just for something different.

I have tried to find pics of this cut, but have had no luck but have seen a few duel cab flat tray (full cut not just half) rangies around but no disco's with just the tub cut

I'm not sure how it will look with the high roof though
Maybe i could try fit a rangie roof then do the cut...?

Anyhow if anyone has pictures or any information on this style of cut that would be great!!
Also open to opinions on how you think it would look

P.s feel free to post up a photoshop version if you know how to use it (i don't)

    Thanks in advance....CHEERS TIM.

you've identified the problem - the roof

btw - rrc roof bolts on (if that is relevant)

I think you'll need to extend the chassis wheelbase to get a useful tub/tray (to 120" wb)

    Thanks for the info
I thought it might have looked abit funny with the raised roof, so i'm happy to hear a rangie one just bolts on
I'm not realy worried about the tub space, as long as there is enough for abit of recovery gear etc. it will mainly be used for playing offroad and camping trips (if there is enough room) i was thinking of a removeable canvas back as well

Ah, that youtube 4door one looks like a great example of what not to do?? After seeing the sweet as 2doors, the bob tailed 4door just looks like its been shunted up the backside by a freight train. Uck. Looks like a *cough splutter* lada niva. Props for doing something different but in this case I don't think he pulled it off. Also his snorkel looks like a factories rain down pipe with the weird kinks in it, but now I'm just getting personal haha.
