You've obviously seen my thread on this but thought I'd chip in again. My logic for the zero offset was based on the fact the 265's are 60mm wider than standard tyres so to keep the steering the same I needed to space out by half of that. I was also looking for an improved 'stance'.
I had to do a fair bit of guard trimming to stop any rubbing. The +2" lift probably helped under normal road use but a spring lift doesn't stop rubbing at full articulation. I've not extended bump stops but there doesn't seem to be any problems with that.
All this is of course based on my RRC, I'd expect the only difference will be for the guard cutting. I don't think the +6 offset will lose you anything in steering compared to the zero offset.
