    Where to get windscreen mouldings?

I need my windscreen replaced and the people at the windscreen place want to charge me $500 just for the mouldings where can I buy the moldings from? I live in porthedland so these will need to be transported up. But im shure i could get them somewhere else for a lot cheeper than that.

Do you have wind screen insurance if so then the insurance would cough up.

actually mine needs to be done also....I told Ian that I thought it was needed for the rubber mouldings to be changed when windscreen is done and he said he will have to buy them

I thought it was up to the windscreen person to change them when doing the windscreen can anyone confirm this? I have windscreen insurance with NRMA. if not I need to know the same answer as sparks

A decent screen fitter will re-use the mouldings if they're OK now.
Our guy does & there's never a problem.

We had this issue aswell a couple of years back when we got thr screen done in the disco.

From memory it was $500 all up, meaning moulds and new screen. I ordered the moulds from British 4wd and had them freighted to the windscreen place if i remember correctly.
