    Rails on Roof

    Hi there

    Are the standard rails that are on the roof of my Disco suitable for attaching a basket to, or are they only meant for show?

    Should be able to put a basket up there no problem. not sure of the capacity of the roof rails, but I have had about 30ea, 6ft star pickets up there for a 100km trip. Was overloaded to blazes but got them home ok.
