    Took a punt on a D1 V8 No 2

    OK so now the timing is set at 6deg BTDC, all the chuffing and back firing has gone. the timing was actually retarded.

    Next problem, idle bounces between 500 and 750 rpm, and when driving there feels like a slight surge at say 60klm, it could be surging at other speeds just i haven’t driven at any other speed yet.

    Its not the dark red one is it I heard they have problems? lol.
