I would go 16's as there will be more than enough sidewall plus some and will also give you ability/option to upgrade brake size and use internal beadlocks (tube valve stem and brake clearance).

    Yeah, plans have changed Dave.

I've put a bit of money into the Disco, and I know it's good's and bad's, so it's better that I keep it and continue the mod's on it and build it up to what I want it to be.

Hoping (if the dollars stretch that far) to get lockers front and rear soon too.

Arn't the upgraded rotors the same diameter as standard just thicker, drilled/vented etc?
I know of people running upgraded brakes with 35's and 15'' rims

Just quickly hijacking the thread again.

    I was thinking of these:
    AT-771 Bravo Series

$200 fitted per corner. Is this the size I need for my standard 95 Disco?
    LT235/75R15

Standard Disco tyre size is 235/70R16. You could go 235/75R16 or 245/70R16 if you want slightly larger tyres on a standard Disco or 245/75R16 if you want to trim a bit off the back guard with standard suspension.
    Cheers, David.

By upgrade I meant bigger calipers and rotors and which are essential if you running >5" diam over D1's stock 29"

As bigger rim as possible i like.
That being said my simexs are on 15's.

If you are on rover diffs, brakes and gears 35's are the limit.
37s are just to big to steer, turn and stop.

Many are now using 17" for 37's. Speed + more sidewall especially if soft is no good...

    Dave.
