Wheel bearings - when to replace

I'm doing mine now at 220,000km there was some water damage etc from the previous owner not taking real good care of them

Thanks again BigJon, Does the oil method only apply to the rear? I am assuming the front must remain with grease due to the swivel housing etc?

change bearings when they crunch?

My two D1's didnt have any problems, never touched the WB on either of them.

Sold at 200k's.

Nope, I have converted my fronts as well. The swivel oil will lubricate them. You will still have to grease the bearings on installation as it will take a while for the oil to migrate there.
