If you search for "camel cut" there is a good step by step picture guide in here somewhere.

    Hi,

I ended up going with 245/75/R16

    Camel Cut Guide

is the guide I used when cutting, however I used an angle grinder rather than tinsnips the dremel would be an even better choice

This is what it ended up looking like

    cutting

at the bottom of the guard measure 50mm from inside rear guard towards the rear of the car, then put a dot there. then mark a line up the guard about where the trim would hit the inside guard, draw a slight ark between these to points an CAREFULLY cut with an angle grinder.

i have bfg MT 235/85/r16 fit great, very little work in the cutting just take your time. I have raised hd lovells springs and ridepro shocks.
    cheers

Just to add, if you use some masking tape and tape it to where your cut is to go, you can cut a nice line, much more visible than a pen when grinding. Plus you can take the masking tape on and off until you are happy with your line for the "camel cut"

    Through a spanner in

Ok so we are clear that 245-75-16 or 235-85-16 will fit with a small camel cut, which I think is near to 31", here is the spanner, i would like the offset to be an inch wider on Black sunrasia rims to give the disco a wider stance and better look, is this going to work without any more alterations?

Interested in the answers, I'd like to do the exact same thing.

    Cheers,

245/75 and 235/85 are not similar in size, the 235/85 is *roughly* 1.5" taller

i have the 235/85's fitted to sunraysias with a -25mm offset (same as you want) and they are just fine with a bit of a guard cut
