just a queston on how i test the air sensor i have a hunch mine may be faulty but not to bad, i live in remote nt so sort of have to do it myself.

I was referring to the Land Rover Driver's manual, which says not to allow the fuel to fall below a quarter of a tank. I imagine this was in case the pump starved when on an incline. In any case, it is desirable to keep any submersible pump submersed,

My D1's fuel figures are shocking! It seems to average 30L/100km with the worst I've had being 300km from a 130L long range tank!! (just for Ron - 43L/100km) :( That was when towing the camper and doing some beach work.
...if it didn't sound so good, I'd be considering going diesel!! ....although this thread has given me some hope!

yeh jason is a wiz at it i went from 350 a tank to 665 its great but hway at 100 to 110 and not easy on the pedal i get about 550 a tank which when i fill is about 70 ltrs
yeh i know thats what mines prob doing now and maybe down to 12 getn the right sttings is the key to the milage i only use 98 now its amazn how much a difference it makes
