shouldnt a flooded engine only be flooded with petrol? and not petrol + oil?
Im just concern the presence of oil on the sparkies is a sign of worst things to come.

did take it for a decent drive. happy to report she's running fine.

Now just hoping she holds together this weekend in the jungle :eek:

Most engines have a film of oil on the engine intake valves, excessive petrol will wash this oil on to the plugs. You aren't getting litres of oil here you know.:cool: Stop fretting and enjoy the ride, and oh, check the oil level once a week.
