Thread: Child seat anchor points

We have 3 in our D1. The centre in the rear roof lining came with the vehicle. The other 2, simply popped the covers out of the roof lining and screwed in standard child restraint anchor bolts.

Exactly the same here for our old Disco.

Got 3 in mine all anchor points are in the roof,
The problem I have now is that 3 car seats dont fit that well across due to the wheel arches

just out of curiosity, does one buy anchor points from baby shops?

You can buy them from baby shops. If you are buying new seat, most come with a standard anchor bolt included.

Big W etc sell anchor points too.
If not all of the holes above your back door are threaded then something is wrong as they are meant to be.

The D1 had a new roof lining when we got it. The centre anchor point is there but nothing to "Pop out" of the roof lining for the other two.

I've found holes where I think the others should go but they are not threaded.

They are threaded from the factory, are you using the right bolt, or you haven't found the correct hole.
