So sorry please forgive my ignorance :( I think the first pic is what the hose should be attached to???:eek: But can you spread any light as to what should go in the hole of the top of the air-box ( second pic ):)

Yep the cap goes off and the hose goes back on here. The brass (?) thread looks like the air temp sensor but I'm not sure. I know when I convert late D1's to early metal air cleaners I mount the sensor somewhere on the tin can near the AFM as there's no provision for it on early models.Quote:
