    1996 3.9 V8 Air Temperature Sensor

    Ok, today's problem number two...

I think we've (as in members of the forum ) solved most of the breather issues I've been having, which has lead to problem number two...

Does the air temperature sensor live in the air box (where I've just removed the engine breather ) or somewhere else on the engine, as I want to get to the bottom of the modifications made to the D1 during its LPG conversion?

    Cheers

It lives nowhere unless it is for the gas, as 14CUX or any injection with a MAF does not have one.
Air temp sensor is to compensate for density/ temperature to calculate mass when measuring air volume, with a flapper. A MAF automatically measures mass.

I just realised that you are the same poster who has been asking lots of questions about breathers.
Your questions are not really Discovery related but LPG fitting related, so take note of what Bee Utey says as he is one of our resident experts.Maybe PM him?
