The roller near the steering damper, whats it for as I can't find it anywhere in the parts books?

Sure, as it's the first one I've ever seen on any LR product, and it's not mounted on any rotating parts so I can't see how it would work?
You want to know why??? You can't handle why.
Why is that it changes the resonant frequency of the axle so that the RH spring does not resonate like a lovely guitar when you go around RH curves .

Before those if the front was up a bit, you could get this incredible vibration noise . The fix then was to push clear plastic tube over the spring, which was difficult but worked.
