OMG i used low range last night going down into a ravine just so i could test some things out and bingo no brakes needed, it held its speed
B E A utifuly unlike it has ever done before. A little impressed you might ask, damn tootin. Now if i can just save up enough to get those double cardin drive shafts so i can get rid of that vibe i'd be as happy as a pig in hmmmm

had the day off today but lacked the motivation to fit the compressor for the front locker, but they are working a treat thats for sure. I now know i def need to look at the drive shafts though, vibe from the drive line is almost too much. I have a spare set so might fit them before the 22nd but will have to get some double carden's for it there is not a doubt in my mind. If you want a martini shaken not stirred just put it in the dozer and we'll go for a spin..

started cleaning out the garage today. looked at the the sliders, looked at the locker compressor, looked at the spare drive shafts, looked for motivation be stuffed where i left it but just cant seem to find it anywhere.
opened the fridge found a can or 2 and decided to relax for a change. work tonite so maybe while the black and white and blue and white are fighting it out i might just do something productive tomorrow. Have to fix a flange gasket leak too its driving me mad. If anyone has a can of motivation send it my way please.
Oh if your after a few cheap parts check the market place i listed a few things first in best dressed

    Bloody Jeeps,
Had the time and perfect weather to work on the dozer on Monday but low and behold the wife's Jeep needed more attention so 6 hours later and grazed knuckles it was out of the way and running sweet again but the poor dozer is still waiting for the locker compressor to be fitted. Then today my son comes home and tells me the clutch in his wrangler is about to jump out and run free so looks like I'm back under a jeep while the dozer sits and waits. Damn it.
Hoping like hell that I can get it working before the big weekend coming up later this month

Motivation levels are high, spent a few hours today fitting the compressor and air line for the front locker and even managed to repair the front passenger seat while I was at it. Decided to fit the compressor under the ps seat and mount the switches beside the fog light switch, although its gonna take some trimming with the dremel to make them fit right. Should be a very nice finish in the cab though. All things going well should have the front all done and tested by the birthday weekend. AND NO CARPET :-)

What are you doing with the floor??

I've got some Hippo Liner which I'm going to use in mine, when I get some time to take it off the road. Just wondering which way you're going with yours.

Hippo Liner is a similar product to Rhino Liner, commonly used as a liner for ute tubs, etc. You buy it in a tin, and paint or roll it on.

I'm hoping it's gonna be the goods, as like you, I'm sick of stinking carpets and having to clean and dry them.
