Where is the best place to buy genuine disco parts from

Where is the best place to buy genuine disco parts from, like air, oil, and fuel filters and hoses etc.
Is there a good local Aussie supplier or If I have to import them from the UK that is fine.
    Thanks Peter

    Hi Peter,

Here is the guy I use in the uk Welcome to DLS - Derbyshire's Number 1 Independant Land Rover Centre. I have always had exceptional service from Paul. Even when I had the wrong part sent he replaced it with no drama's.

There are obviously good oz suppliers as well. British Four Wheel Drive - Land Rover Parts, Range Rover Parts, Discovery Parts, Freelander Parts, Defender Parts, Accessories & Spares Specialist these guys are in Tassie, so you would save on postage.

It doesn't hurt to try a Land Rover dealer, quite ofter they are competitive, especially in high volume items, ever if they are a few $ more, it doesn't hurt to support them. At least you know you are getting genuine and if too expensive, you have a price to compare.

There are also a number of local suppliers such as Rovercraft, Karcraft, BMI, TR Spares or some Ebay sellers like Garyclr4wd etc who can supply either genuine or non genuine.

    Hi Flyreels,
For me high volume stuff I go to either Rovercraft or Southerns depending on what I need. Fleabay cops a bit of business as mentioned in the above post, TRS is SA I use for a lot of the expensive difficult stuff to find. Major engine components, crankshaft, pistons, head, injectors etc etc I use Turner Engineering in the UK, great value, have the stuff on my doorstep usually within seven days. Watch the value of the items thought, over $1k you get clobbered for duty and GST. The Turner Engineering option I take as a last resort, like to support Ozzie business. When a piston costs AU$200 here and you can get the same genuine part in the UK for AU$72 (with rings) you have got to take the option.
