Driving Daisy
Drove Daisy our 1994 300 TDi auto to the Taste of Tasmania today, running well with over 552,000 kilometres on it.
The only real problem it has is apart from the sagging roof lining, the paint is breaking down badly with the strong ultraviolet rays we have in Tasmania.

"Brand new" 300tdi in a 96 110 with only 220000. Although I recently heard from my mechanic that he rebuilt a 300tdi in a disco that he works on a bit..... just after they ticked over a million!

my disco 300tdi is only at 241k right now but hoping with care to get double that at least.
hate to admit it by i used to drive a troopie for my old job which was a rescue vehicle to fix the other trucks in the middle of the desert and that one had ticked over (on the same engine). never let me down.

Yep after 5 years of faithful service now (I bought it with about 250K on the clock) mine has just clocked up over the BIG 400  - Not too bad when you consider it`s about 384,400Kms to the moon
What funny is I`ve spent most of the time from 300K thinking she might be getting a-bit-long-in-the-tooth - Now it feels like a-new-lease-of-life as I really want to see how far one of these beauties can actually go? :) - "Look out Earth we`re coming home!"

Just finished fraser with not one issue (besides getting passed by a b-double up hill :( ). Oh and i got it with around 510,000km and was wrecker ready with
