    mine doesn't..... I know my ABS works because everytime we do something to the brakes change something or what ever which has been a fair bit lately we take it down the road and jump on them to make sure ABS can be activated
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    ABS light at startup

    In EU there is a requirement that the ABS light is lit as you turn on the ignition. As a standard it should only be "canceled" if the system detects movement in the wheels. So on a Landy it should be about 7 meters before it's turned of. (And I don't think Landrover makes more than one ABS CPU, one that is approved for all markets.)

    So, no ABS light on ignition: probably tampered with. Lights won't go out: probably a sensor that cant read the movement. Either the sensor is bad, dirty or to far away to read. Try tapping them alittle (to reset them). If that doesn't work there is a test that can show the "blink codes" and give you the answer.
