Fix any timing cover gasket leaks, check for oil leaks at bottom of timing cover, if so good time to pull harmonic balancer off and fit new front crank seal. And if you do, have the tiiming cover off, check the timing chain
Pull the clamps off the power steering hoses and check for wear or replace the power steering hoses as they will leak soon enough anyway.
Good time to do a service as it's nice and easy to get at everything and get in there with the pressure washer and give everything a birthday as it never hurts.
Have a looksy at the harmonic balancer while your there, I have seen one that was cracked and caused a lot of other damage when it broke but it was caused by abuse though so not essential.
I also recommend serpentine belt.
Cheers Casper

Thank Cassper, The power steerign hoses are already leaking and that was on my to do list until the over heating issue came up. Unfortunatley finances have to come into play and after buying news rad hoses, fan clutch and getting the radiator re-cored my budgets already stretched.
Doesnt cost anything to have a good look and make a list though![]()
