80w/90 for the diffs and transfer case.

You can get "oneshot" grease for the swivels, but in my opinion it doesn't lubricate as well as oil.

Don't use ATF in the gearbox, i'm now using syntrans 75/ 85.
There are mineral oils available. Check the Castroil or other
    web sites..

Just enquiring, where the specs call for ATF why go to 75/85 ?? I always though ATF was a superior lube ...Gary

EP80/90 in the transfer box and diffs. One shot swivel grease (STC3435) is perfect for the swivels.

Because the specs no longer call for ATF. Superseded by MTF94 spec, which is better. Syntrans conforms.

Second AKW's comment. There are plenty of threads on this very subject and overwhelmingly the recommendation is for Syntrans. Even LR put out a bulletin years ago ditching ATF for MT94 (I think that is what it was called). But you can't seem to get it now. ATF just won't do it ...it seems.

It is, for an auto tranny....

As mentioned above, Land Rover changed the spec fluid with a Tech bulletin in 1997 yet unfortunately the manual doesn't reflect this, nor does any of the oil blenders recommendations.

You achieve better bearing and gear protection (gear rattle and noise is drastically reduced in summer) and usually better synchro performance with a dedicated manual trans fluid, although the R380 can be idiosyncratic and prefer one type of MTF over another and some just shift nicer with ATF, but they are usually in a tiny minority.
IME Syntrans gives one of the best compromises and is available everywhere.
