    Front Bilsteins upside down

    Hi All,

Going to fit my new shocks and springs this week. Looking at the front shocks they need to be installed upside down to conventional mounting.

This means the larger outside cover will always sit at the bottom of the shock shaft and collect all sort of water and crap in it with no way to escape.

In the pic the left hand section will be at bottom and upside down.

Have others come across this and added a rubber boot?

    Thanks,
    Rez

    Huh?
    Why?
You have to use smaller bush washers than the ones supplied for the bottom but mine aren't upside down in my 92RRC which AFAIK is exactly the same as a D1.
