    Range rover ARB rear bar to Disco 1

    Hi guys & gals

    Just wondering what sort of rear bar I am going to fit to my 93 Disco and I thought of the Range Rover Arb bar I have in the shed.

    I am recovering from surgery on my shoulder, so I thought it would be easier to ask than try to wrestle it into place and see if it fits.

    Does anyone know if the RR bar will fit the Disco1?

    I had an ARB Range Rover bar on the rear of my 93 Disco 1, sticks out a bit further than most bars, but never had trouble with it grounding. Also the tow hitch reciever is slanted upwards towards the back so you need a tow hitch to suit, If I can find a pic I will post it up, Regards Frank.

    Thanks Tank, I know about the slant in the hitch and it doesn't worry me as I'm not going to use it for towing.

    The bar is going onto my bush truck and I was just wanting a bit more clearance by removing the tow bar. The arb bar will give me good protection on the rear and allow a recovery point in the centre.
