To get it home you could run a wire directly from the battery to the pump. Or if you have a spare battery put it in the back next to the pump. As long as there is fuel in the tank should not cause any problems.

The fuel pump runs as long as your engine is running. How else would the engine get fuel?? It stops when your engine stops.Quote:
