    Milford Barrier placement

I was wondering if anyone here has any pictures of their Milford barrier positioned behind their front seats in their Discovery? I am trying to install mine, but I can't figure out the right position, and I can't find pictures anywhere to refer to. The measurements in the instructions put it further away from my front seats than I would prefer, or had planned on, with regards to how I wanted to keep my gear and storage separate from my dogs. Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide a picture or advice.

Ha! I wish I were in Australia right now. It's going in a DI. I think I have figured it out. The barrier isn't as close to the front seats as I'd like because it allows room for the rear seats (which I have removed) when folded up. I guess I'll have to rethink my cargo area a bit. I would hate to deviate too far from the way it was designed in order for it to be right up against my front seats.

    Moved to D1 area.

I guess we are a bit warmer than Oregon at this time of year.

G'day mate, I have one fitted to my D1 and you are right. They are back from the front seats so that you can have the rear seats folded up.

The only way for you to get it up behind the front seats is to put in some extension bars. They only have to be straight flat bar because the ones supplied have the expansion ripples in them. The only trouble I can see is the barrier might sink down because the floor drops away behind the front seats.

If you would like pics let me know and I will take some for you.

I'd forgotten about extension bars. I made some up for my D1's barrier.
