nice set up mate, i think ill be pinching a couple of ideas
If you check the first pic you can see the barrier bend in at the base. I would have to cut the side out of the cargo barrier!
The compressor fits nicely on the milk crate, it's all coming together slowly.
Cheers

hey, can you please show a pic with the fridge slide right outthe photo up top makes it look like it doesnt come out far enough to open the lid
thanks![]()
so what mods did you have to do (to the runners, fridge or top shelf) and can you keep the thermo cover on it as well ?
it looks like the end of the fridge is still under the top shelf. I am only being nosey as I was about to copy your plan pretty much identically and want to know of any pitfalls before I start it.
thanks in advance![]()
I cut the top shelf a tad, about 15mm. Fits with cover and all. Just going to fit foam to rear door to hold it all a bit tighter in there. Cheers
Can I ask if you have attached the shelves to the floor or the luggage barrier?
I ask because I'm going to demolish an unwanted cupboard next week and use the timber to make shelves similar to yours while I'm on holiday and I've been debating if I need to fix them in place.
It's all just sitting on the floor, and held by the two anchor bolts. Big washers etc. oh and it's also screwed into steel just below the rhs window.
It's not tested off road or anything yet, but it wouldn't be hard to screw through the barrier from behind the seats into the timber. PVA glue is incredibly good stuff.
Yeah, I was thinking of just clamping the back of it to the bottom of the luggage barrier.
how much room do you loose with the cargo barrier ? I am thinking of using a half barrier from the top of the shelf up to the ceiling. I think this will give me another couple of inches depth for the fridge ????
