    Wink D2 lights into D1

G'day, I recently needed to replace a stone chipped head light in one of my Discos. Couldn't find a 2nd handy for love or money, and local suppliers wanted $140 for a new one. Found some OEM D2 lights in the U.K. for $125 the pair! They landed soon after and were a straight swap into the D1.Then I added an HID loom and bulbs (shh!). Look quite sinister I think, all up a very worthy upgrade.

    No, it's the D2a into the D2.

The D2 and D2a have the same profile indicators meaning a swap is "easy"!! A D1 has a different profile indicator meaning the wing needs altering - just haven't found out how to do that bit yet!

It can be done though. The Disco isn't mine so I can't answer questions

You may have to use the front guards from a D2 as well then?

Well, the D3 lights arrived today. Looks like quite a job getting these in. Initial thoughts! Major reconstruction to the radiator support in the light area. Move both batteries to the rear of the vehicle. Some careful chopping of the bonnet, and a rethink of the grill and bumper.

So was it determined what the PDF covers?
Is it for D2a headlights into D2 or into D1 ?
Also the PDF seems incomplete on the rear light conversion.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
