Both are simply brand names, although "Timken" is sometimes used to describe tapered roller bearings such as these, since they were the original patentees of them.
It would seem that the brand description in the ebay ad was incorrect, but it is likely that they are intended for the same use and are probably, as Phillip says, of equivalent (or nearly) quality.

I assume a D1 would be similar to a 110, if so no need for a dial test indicator.

A few things... Firstly, there's no need to start a new thread each time if you're discussing the same topic. Just keep posting in your original. It's actually beneficial for you to do so, as all those who previously posted will receive a notification that you have further questions! :)
Anyway, I agree with weeds, you don't need those tools. The hub nut is 52mm. You will need a drift to knock the old bearing housing out of the hub. (Can't remember the correct term for it! It's the outer ring that the bearing runs in - housing?). It will likely be stuck in pretty good.
thanks for the advice about the thread didn't know. The outer ring the bearing runs in is called the outer race.
