    Who to rebuild/fit R380 and LT230 in Adelaide, and fit a HD clutch for me?

    As the title states, who in Adelaide is recommended to rebuild the gearbag and transfer in my 300tdi D1? I would prefer drop off/pick up as it is my daily driver and I have too many other projects going on. Would also like a HD clutch fitted as my current clutch has started to slip at full boost in 5th, which is the reason for the gearbox rebuild (its noisy but still works, but if im getting the clutch done i may aswell do the lot).

    Also, does the transfer usually need doing at the same time? there is alot of back lash in the drive train and I have read its usually the centre diff? Maybe just get the gear box done then transfer later? Anyone in adelaide want to come for a drive to help diagnose? Im in Mawson Lakes weekdays/Gawler most weekends.

    You could talk to Land Ranger Spares (Pooraka), PCB land rovers (north Plympton) PCB Landrovers Homepage or Triumph Rover Spares (Lonsdale) Triumph Rover Spares - The World's Largest Land Rover Dismantler .

    All know their land rovers but will vary on their prices a bit.

    Try calling Geoff Mockford at Sovereign Motors in Kent Town.

    Or Pete Brown down near the Airport at PCB Land Rovers. He will have quite a waiting list though, probably 3 weeks or so until he can do the work as he's always pretty busy.
