    Ticking Noise under Accelaration

Hi have just started to get a ticking under accelartion in my 91 3.5l , happens in every gear only when accelating when i take my foot off the gas it goes away. Seems to be coming from the passenger side . No indication on start up of the noise and it hasnt affected the perfomance . Any idea what it could be. Im thinking anything from the lifters to a hole in the exhaust

check the exhaust manifold bolts to start with then drop the fan belts, poweder the exhaust gasket with talc and start it up.

if you get puffs of talc then youve done an exhaust gasket

    It is the exhaust manifold

Get some paste and take of the manifolds and paste them up and put them back on tight.

High-temperature silicon sparingly used works well as a manifold gasket,
