first one, I am replacing the front wheel arch panel on my disco, what recommendations for the silastic type stuff used between mating surfaces, the factory stuff seems to be a non setting black type.
second, where to get replacement indicators for 95 ARB disco bullbar? are they generic, anyone know what size fits?
thanks

Not sure on the original black stuff, but if it was me I would be using a black polyurethane such as Sikaflex 11fc, or Sikaflex 285 - there are other black polys which are probably OK too such as Bostik or Parfix. All of them will set with some flexibility. Make sure the mating surfaces are clean, use alcohol or metho, not turps. Steer clear of the silicones as they will probably not last well. Simon
Selleys 'D-MASTIC' industrial grade skin forming black sealant is what they use on windscreens and panel joints. This is messy stuff though.
As said before Sikaflex can be used as a good alternative.
I got onto the sikaflex website where they reccommend sikaflex 227 for automotive purposes such as the application I need.
