I would brand those who have the white lettering out in the same bucket as those who choose to have a huge sticker across their rear screen announcing to the world their choice of brand of sunnies.
Yes, well done, you have exercised your rights as a consumer and purchased a set of sunnies/tyres/brand of bullbar/accessories. Do you really feel the need to have that written in 6 foot high letters across the back of your car/on the sidewall/tattooed across your forehead?

I would have said they were pretty much the same thing.
The badge will be a different colour to the paint work (usually), so what is the difference?
As far as my opinion regarding the white writing in or out, I prefer out. I just like the way it looks, I am not concerned about what the words say.

I don't care much about advertising or anything like that, the white lettering is just ugly.
White lettering on tyres is for Toyota drivers.
I keep the Original Landrover ones, ie, make and Model, but dealers stickers, off they come.
I have business signwriting for the Company, our Fuel Distributor, and accessories supplier, that's all.
Just waiting for a tyre manufacturer to confirm a deal and they can have their logo on the car.
How many of us have AULRO stickers on our Landrovers?
