I would brand those who have the white lettering out in the same bucket as those who choose to have a huge sticker across their rear screen announcing to the world their choice of brand of sunnies.

Yes, well done, you have exercised your rights as a consumer and purchased a set of sunnies/tyres/brand of bullbar/accessories. Do you really feel the need to have that written in 6 foot high letters across the back of your car/on the sidewall/tattooed across your forehead?

You guessed it. No free advertising from me.

A visible badge is one thing. Screaming a brand at the world is somewhat different.

I would have said they were pretty much the same thing.

The badge will be a different colour to the paint work (usually), so what is the difference?

As far as my opinion regarding the white writing in or out, I prefer out. I just like the way it looks, I am not concerned about what the words say.

    In. Definitely in.

I don't care much about advertising or anything like that, the white lettering is just ugly.

White lettering on tyres is for Toyota drivers.

I keep the Original Landrover ones, ie, make and Model, but dealers stickers, off they come.
I have business signwriting for the Company, our Fuel Distributor, and accessories supplier, that's all.
Just waiting for a tyre manufacturer to confirm a deal and they can have their logo on the car.

How many of us have AULRO stickers on our Landrovers?
If you want to be technical, that's still advertising

One sticker on each of my Land Rovers and the advertising on the side of the tyres is plain to see ( when I crawl underneath to change the oil ).
