You were doing well,,, (5 and 6 km/litre ) that's 13 and 16 mpg respectively. Very Respectable... :angel:

My 3.9 petrol, LUCAS injected averages around 5 to 5.3 km/litre. 14 to15 mpg.

Or around $30 per 100 km at $1.49 / litre 91 ULP.

Whatever, your Right Foot is very important in the equation...:p

On petrol i was getting 22mpg, so in comparison with an lpg price of 30c/ltr at the time is was very respectable. My old mans efi 4.2 patrol was lucky to do 3.5-4 klm/ltr on lpg.

So what does a Disco 1 3.9 V8 get per 100Km, we were thinking of picking one up as a second car/ beach and bush vehicle. The TDI makes sense but you lose out quite a bit power wise and power is good for sand. I hope I can get better economy out of my 3.5 V8 cause it'll cost an arm and a leg to fill, might look into and overdrive.
