Thread: Indicators not indicating

Another little problem I have got with my disco is the indicators, When you turn the indicator on they flash briefly before stopping, The indicator dash light stops flashing and stays on solid but the indicators are not illuminated outside the vehicle at all.

I suspect it is an earth problem , but I thought I would ask if any one has had this occur before and could put me on the right track to start looking.

Easiest thing as a start is to replace the flasher relay. Should be a 3 blade unit. Don't know about the early D1, but on the 300s they are inside the right kick panel I think.
