    Coolant leak

    Hey Guys,

After fixing an oil leak from my oil pressure sensor that would drip down onto my oil filter and onto the ground I've noticed the oil leaks fixed but now I've got a few drops of coolant collecting in my oil filter. On a closer look I found a tiny bit of coolant on the hose clamp for the bottom pipe of the water pump and one or two drops on the water pump itself though I cant seem to catch it in the act when the engines running. Now the water pump was replaced last year with a supposedly genuine part as well as the pipes, though when i went to tighten the clamp i found it was the original one and was stuffed so I replaced it. Still leaking though, does this sound like the water pump again? are they known for failing prematurely?

I had the same problem I replaced the bottom hose and clamp all good now. There was a fair bit of crud caked up inside where the bottom hose would seal against the water pump it plus it looked orignial as well.
