    Rear bars

    After a rear bar for a discvery one nothing fancy, pretty much need a steel bar to replace the existing original. Will pay for someone to weld one up, or If someone can reccomend a place in Sydney to get one done. Trying to keep it cheap and simple. If anyone has plans/dimensions they would like to share it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Have seen this before. Then discovered on a forum from someone in the uk who has the same (these are imports) there is a weld in the middle vertically that is very weak, clipped a tree and ripped it in half.

    thats a bummer, I just threw my original one out to replace with a HD one, I bought one similar not the same as the above ebay advert and there is no weld down the middle, just a solid length of steel all the way across the rear

    If you are only after the original bar Pick & Payless at Blacktown had a D1 come in on Wednesday - according to their website its still complete (as of this morning) - complete rear bar is listed as $80
