    Loss of power 300TDI

Today the disco loss a lot of power while driving round a round about....

I went to put my accelerate out of the roundabout when I heard a hiss like the release of pressure and loss of power. It drives fine apart from when I accelerate hard, it seems to rev harder but doesn't go any harder... Turbo also sounds higher pitched and louder as if its exposed if that makes sense

Any ideas what may have gone wrong?

    Thanks in advance...

If it sounds like a vacume cleaner it is your turbo hose, usually the the turbo end.

Turbo hose could have delaminated and blocks off air to turbo so it spins in a near vacum makes it louder but doesnt supply air to the engine so down on power. hose kit is fairly cheap get a new one off ebay or a landy supplier near you
