Tunit chip fitting
I just bought Tunit chip for my Disco 1 tdi 300 auto EDC. It came nice in the box with a bit useless instructions. It refers to connecting the Tunit to cables on specific pin number on the ECU plug. Well, I can get the plug off the ECU, but there is no way for me to see what cable goes to what pin.
Does anyone have a ECU (ECM) wiring diagram so a can match the pin number on the plug to the cable color?
(Yes, I bough a chip for the TDI 300

Hey Mate,
Australia didn't get any of the "electronically controlled" 300TDI's as far as I am aware. So it's unlikely you will get much of a response. Have you got a RAVE manual (CD)? The info you seek may be in there.
I've got to be honest, I'm really not sure how much you're going to get out of that chip. The "ECU" with the 300TDI was pretty rudimentary. It didn't have all that many inputs or outputs and it really didn't "control" all that much.
If you do get it installed successfully I would be interested in what difference it has made. Would be especially interested in dyno based figures if that's how you are going about it, though as you seem to be installing the chip yourself I'm doubting you are going to be chucking the Disco on the dyno.
Good luck and sorry I can't really be all that much help.

Hey Chris, thanks for reply.
Well, fitting it my self is not by choice. I live in Jakarta, and there are too many people familiar with Tunits here, although supposedly local authorized LR dealer can do it, but they are ripp-off and very picky when it comes to what they work on. Meaning, if you had a 2012 RR they would live you, otherwise, its a waste of time.
I am trying to get the diagram from UK now for the ECU and try to fit the Tunit, will let you know the results. Honestly, I would much rather get rig of the Bosch electronic fuel management and replace it with mechanical so I could adjust it then (and for other reasons, like crossing the river
I am also fitting dual-core intercooler, so I am expecting some improvement in performance. Will let you know.
Thanks,
Mogindo

So I contacted the guys in the UK for Tunit and got few tips.
I installed it today in the morning.
Right of the bet, the truck has much better trottle response, I don't have to push the pedal and then hear a big yawn, it speaks right the way now, and moves too.
I was driving around today with the music on (kind of loud) and she feels almost like a car now
