    ive done the mega el-cheepo.

i disconnected the rear speakers and wired a pair of home midi system speakers that i had sitting around the house, and sat them in the rear passenger foot wells, and pushed the front seats back to hold them in place. then tuned the the stereo to 8% rear and 2% for the factory front.

works a treat!! altho i took the rear seats out of my D1. so no rear foot space required.

    cheers.

    dave.

I have thought lately of on trips putting one of my 6x9's in a speaker box on the floor behind center console (only 1 child in back) to add a bit of bass to the front.

I have 4" rockford fosgates in the front and back with two rockford 8" subs all driven by a 4 and a 2 channel Amp

    I cant complain

its not a big doof doof set up as when its loud it doesnt really resonate outside the car (thats what I wanted) however it sounds much much nicer in the car.

Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
