hi all. just want to say hello to all fellow landie lovers! will start by introducing myself I live up in Townsville love me series1 3.9l disco love taking it out in the bush and hitting the tracks(the ones the fun police haven't blocked off yet) not many of them left. as with most things in life a few idiots wreck it fall all of us. my car is well that's a bit of a mystery the build plate says December 93 but vin number indicates 94 model year so not sure what to call it! what do you guys think I should call it? also my alternator has died what a bugger to find one part number YLE 10099 I have been told it was only used on this model is that true? any thoughts on exhaust blokes say go the twin system others say keep it a single whats the go guys?

That build makes it a 94 MY, see if you can get a bosch alt that will fit.
Stick to the single exhaust, twins are for muscle cars.
