I was able to find lots of grunts while trying to access the bloody starter motor on the rover V8.

The Rover 3.9 delivers more response than the 300 TDI. It all relative namely the comparison is between a 3.9 v8 and a 300tdi. The v8 will leave the 300tdi standing on road performance, off road however a different story. Cheers Dave

id choose a v8 over a tdi any day, preferably a 4.2 or a 4.6
